Stephen D. Morrison is a prolific American writer, ecumenical theologian, novelist, artist, and literary critic. A strong sense of creativity and curiosity drives his productive output of books on a wide range of subjects.

Stephen’s “Plain English” series provides an accessible and scholarly introduction to some of the greatest theological minds of the past century. His own work in theology has addressed subjects ranging from the problem of suffering, the atonement, the rapture theory, and his personal journey of rediscovering the gospel.

As a literary critic, Stephen has a keen interest in modern authors such as James Joyce and Samuel Beckett. As a novelist, Stephen has written one experimental novel, No. 1, and plans to write other works of fiction soon.
