Recommended Reading

I love books! I’ve loved books ever since I was a kid.

My Grandma is partially to blame I think. She has a largest personal library of anyone I know. I would guess she has something close to 5,000 or more books.

She’s my hero.

God too, of course. He’s to blame for my book-addiction. He made me this way.

I simply. love books: reading books, looking at books and even smelling books. (Is that weird? I can’t be the only one!)

Recently I’m most likely to reach for a non-fiction book. Although I do enjoy a good fiction every now and then.

I can honestly say that my life has been shaped by the books I’ve read. I love sharing books with other people because I love sharing what I love.

I don’t recommend books because it’s cute. I recommend books because I believe in the power of books. Words are beautiful to me, and I have been changed by the words I have read.

This is why I write books too. My life is a testimony to the power of a good book.

So I’d like to share with you some of the books that have changed my life. You can find this list HERE.

But of course I can’t forget the most important book of all. The bible.

I have a deep love affair with the scriptures. I collect unique bible translations, and love searching through them for fun little treasures and truths.

I think every Christian should have a a vast multitude of bible translations in their collection.

There are so many great translations out there, but sadly most only know about the big guys. The NIV, ESV, KJV, NASB, and so on. These are all amazing translations, don’t get me wrong, but there are also a lot of great, lesser-known translations that I’ll be you’ve never heard of.

So I’d love to introduce you to them HERE.
